Of, relating to, or located near the surface
Superior
Further above or out; higher in position

A group of body organs or structures that together perform one or more vitual functions
Ventral
Pertaining to the anterior or front side of the body; opposite of dorsal (underside of an animal or plant)
Anterior
Situated toward the front of the body (near the front or near the head)
