  • Clearly posted instructions on exit procedures and emergency protocol
  • a written copy in complete form for the entire EAP given to all employees
  • Fully stocked and frequently checked first aid kit

Series of events in emergency at CMCC

A

if clinician in corridor- summon immediately

-if no clinicians get closest assisting intern
(tell intern there is emergency and get assisting intern to find clinician on way to the phone )
-if AI does not find clinician they should call clinic reception or 911 directly, if calling reception state room number

  • request all clinicians be paged
  • first clinician on the scene will assume responsibility for the situation
  • clinician must perform the emergency examination and complete all clinical notes and incident reports
