Acute management of pneumonia

A
  • ABCs
  • SEPSIS 6 within 60 minutes
  • oxygen
  • fluids - vasopressors if needed
  • ICU for intubation if severe hypoxemia

Antibiotic treatment

  • co amixoclav for CAP
  • piperacillin-tazobactam +- vancomycin for HAP
