digoxin Flashcards

1
Q

what is digoxin used for

A

Treatment for atrial fibrillation, flutter, heart failure

Q

what can increase the risk of toxicity for patients taking digoxin

A

Toxicity increased by electrolyte disturbances

electrolyte disturbances:

  • hypercalcaemia
