A

Basically Hb that contains Fe3+ but cannot transport oxygen. Causes pseudocyanosis, tissue hypoxia and death.

normal amount: 0.7%
20% -> hypoxemia
60-80% -> death

A

Nitroglycerin, amylnitrite

Gets converted to nitrates while Fe2+ becomes Fe3+
