Lead FA leads the briefing by asking the questions as outlined in the ELC
What does the Lead FA do when they finish the PIC briefing call and/or return from the flight deck?
Move to step 2.
Don full uniform.
Initiate conference call with cabin crew members (5 on the inter phone)
When will the cabin crew find out the details of the emergency?
In step 3 during the all cabin crew briefing lead by the LFA
When and where is the lead to crew briefing?
Usually done in the FWD galley but can be done in the aft galley. Takes place after the station call is complete. All FAs to pick up on station call.
How does the lead conduct the all crew briefing to ensure all points are covered?
Follow the ELC
Why does the LFA call the flight deck after briefing all cabin crew?
To notify PIC briefing is complete and get any updated info which is then relayed to the cabin crew
After lead calls the flight deck and updates are relayed what announcement is made?
Announcement from the flight deck or if pilot will not be making an announcement then the passenger announcement is delivered.
Where are the other cabin crew members while the lead/captain is making the announcement?
P3 stays at the front of the cabin - this reassures passengers
P2 and P4 are securing the aft galley
What is the cue to do cabin checks during an ELC?
“Cabin crew verify and thumbs up”
Which way is the thumbs up passed?
P4 starts from row 22 to P 3 in row 2 to P4 in row 1 to LFA on fwd PA
