Q

Binge-eating vs bulimia nervosa

A

Binge-eating disorder is like bulimia nervosa, but the episodes of excess food ingestion are not followed by a compensatory response. Rumination disorder refers to repeated regurgitation of food for a period of at least one month. Food may be re-chewed, re-swallowed or spit out. There is no medical cause for the repeated regurgitation.
