Q

Census

A

Countries can gather accurate population data through carrying out a regular count of the population, every 10 years in the UK, On a Sunday in April. This avoids weekly work travel, holidays and winter. This allows comparisons of population change to be made over time.
It is the responsibility of each household to complete census form given out by enumerators who collect them and checks that all individuals are recorded. It is compulsory to fill it in.
