In terms section 7.3.c of the act.......
Reservation of work for architects shall be the following for new build and alterations
The Design and planning and supervision of erection of buildings in the area of a local authority or a proclaimed township.
The design, planning and supervision of erection of additions extending the architectural area in the jurisdiction of a local council or a proclaimed township
inspectors, builders and foreman
The legislation does not bar the execution of the work as long as the work is done under the supervision of an architect.
Who may assist and architect. (1)
An architect may be assisted to carry out the work by a person not registered as an architect
Buildings that are excluded are listed in the.......(1)
Some buildings are excluded and they are listed in the attached annex called the schedule of exceptions
Prior Commissions to what notice will not fall under the notice (1)
Projects agreed an initiated prior to notice 154 of 2011 shall not fall under the notice.
