where did Tudor’s support come from

A

Tudor tried to invade during Buckingham’s rebellion but winter storms meant that he arrived off the Devon coast too late, the day Buckingham was arrested

Trap that Buckingham was waiting for him so Tudor retreated back to Brittany, was a threat as he had a claim to the throne and had a lot of support

Gloucester dispatched a diplomat to Brittany in July 1483 but they gave Tudor warning and he was able to escape to France
