For every trade use these 3 type of protection:

A
  1. Always have a reasonable and protective stop in the market and trade small if it is far away.
  2. Exit if reasonable opposite signal (does not have to be perfect or strong)
  3. Exit if there is a strong opposite breakout. (i.e. bear bars close on or near their lows)

Q

When a trade goes against you, do not get paralyzed by a need to see what you missed.
Just exit with a loss before it grows too big.

A

Don’t wait and say, “Oh my gosh, it’s reversing down. There has to be some pattern her that I’m not seeing.”
