A

Roles are tasks that allow a sport to be played eg match officials/judges. Incudes playing roles such as captain or vice captain.

A

A

A

Prevention - set your standards of acceptability early in the event.

Make eye contact when talking

Be definitive with language and decision. Wavering will be seen as weakness and encourage more challlenges.

Wear appropriate attire for the activity and look smart.

Be consistent and firm with gestures and decisions eg appropriate whistle tone for gravity of offences

Allow time for a participant to cool down and maintain an even tone when addressing players.
