  • consistency-those highest in business will share same vision
  • motivation-staff may be more motivated as they know they have a clear job to do ,given by the seniors

  • useful for better training since they can watch employees better to see who underperforms
  • better communication (useful for big firms)

  • costly- may need to employ additional members to watch over since employees will be split up into smaller parts
  • demotivating-employees may not feel trusted as they would be watched
  • can disrupt work if managers will be taking time out of work to manage these employees
