Q

How do you find the Density of a Regular Shaped Object?

A
Measure the Height, Width & Length of the object
Calculate the volume of the object
Measure the mass of the object
Divide the mass by the Volume
Density = Mass(g) / Volume(cm³)

Q

How do you find the density of an irregular object?

A

It’s the same as with a regular object
If you want to find the volume you have to use the displacement method
Fill a measuring cylinder to 10cm³. Place your object into the water. Take away 10cm³ from the new volume. The number left over is the volume of the irregular object.
