Skin tags Rashes Haemorrhoids Anal fissures External bleeding Fistula Abscesses

Bear down
A
Strain as if passing stools
Inspect for rectal prolapse

When finger in, note:
A
Presence of thickness or irregularities of rectal wall
Presence of palpable faeces
Any points of tenderness
