Q

What are limits?

A

Unique real numbers in real-valued function; if you consider a real-valued function f and the real number c, limit defines as lim x—>c f(x) =L

Q

What are the two limits a function can approach?

A

One where the variable approaches its limit through values larger than the limit and the other where the variable approaches its limit through values smaller than the limit.

Q

What is an example of a limit with relation to the function f (X) = x + 2?

A

The limit of f at x =3 is the value f approaches as we get closer to x = 3, in graph form being the y value we approach when we look at the graph of f and get closer to the point of the graph where x =3/

Q

Mathematically what would limit of f (x) = x + 2 look like in a graph?

A

A P1 of (1 , 3) moves across a graph until close to x=3, of which, y value(the value of the functions) gets really close to 5, thus limit of x=3 is 5
