What type of system do we have?

A

Negative ground, dual fed, split bus system.

How many alternators do we have?

A

Two.

What is the type of our alternators do we have?

A

Belt driven. 14 volts, 60 AMP alternators.

What is the purpose of voltage regulators on our alternators?

A

The voltage regulators ensure there is not a surge of power causing a potential fire. They keep the voltage coming at a max of 14 volts and have a over voltage relay. If it exceeds 17 volts the overvoltage relay kicks in. If this occurs the over voltage light will illuminate.

What type of Battery do we have?

A

12 volt battery with 35 amps. Provides current for starting the aircraft.
