Drug and alcohol consumption BUT NOT Significant intoxication

Lives with carers who are under significant stress which impacts on patients life

What are the time frames relating to mental health hand over?

A
  • s57 at hospital = 30 mins
  • Where security are unavailable and it is not safe for SAPOL to leave there is a 60 minute window where police will remain to facilitate the attendance of security staff
    • Matter must be escalated should they wish for SAPOL to remain any longer
