Q

What is a Clear and Stage?

A

is a protocol executed through Communications that mirrors Emergency Calls Only, “EC Status” (LE-002 Communications). During a Major Incident or emergency, regardless of the geographical location in the Region, the Duty Inspector may authorize ALL units to clear and stage to strategic, pre-determined District locations. This protocol is intended to prevent self-deployment to Major Incidents and organizes a coordinated response of available units, if needed. The busy-code used for this protocol is “C1”.
