This is not possible while alive. God is too powerful for us to comprehend him with our finite bodies. We will see God in the afterlife, however we will not see him in his totality as he is still too powerful. If ‘God’ appears in your dreams, know that this is in fact satan.

Seeing prophet

We cannot see him in our dreams because we do not know what the prophet actually looks like. However satan can take the form of a random bloke and claim to be the prophet. This should not be trusted.

If we believe that we can see the prophet in our dreams, what does this imply?

Sharia is complete

It implies that the prophet failed his goal in his lifetime. (Kufr)

It implies that God was ignorant about the ummahs future and therefore failed to communicate the necessary message during the prophet’s lifetime.
