Always radiograph not XR (XR is the modality of imaging but radiograph is the actual image)

How do you present the findings of a fracture radiograph?

Answer 2

• Type of fracture e.g. oblique, transverse, spiral or comminuted
• Location and bone e.g. distal femur
• Translation?
• Angulation? - varus or valgus
• Shortening?
