Every Department member has the responsibility to ensure the security of apparatus, however, the ultimate responsibility and accountability of apparatus security rest with?

When out of quarters all members shall comply with the following procedures:

1. Units shall remain in their own FIRST-IN district, unless approved by MFC.
2. Strongly CONSIDER getting food “to go” when eating out
3. Park emergency apparatus to allow for a timely response.
4. Provisions for apparatus security shall be maintained by having LIGHT vehicles LOCKED and HEAVY apparatus SECURED appropriately.
5. Radios and protective equipment shall be placed in a secure location, out of public sight.
6. Apparatus that CANNOT be locked shall be kept IN SIGHT at all times.

Question 3

Lost or stolen equipment as well as response delays and an inability to provide service to the community are all outcomes of inadequate apparatus security. __________ will be held strictly accountable for these types of losses, delays, and service interruptions.
