In general, when are the system pages automatically displayed on the SD?

Answer 1

 Relative to the current phase of flight, or
 When a system malfunction is detected

When is a STATUS page displayed?

Answer 2

- After a failure is displayed on the SD and all failure items have been cleared
- Display will reappear when the slats are extended
