Placing an image with precision

A

Import an image through copy and paste or uploading.
- Place relative to the page: Inputting coordinates
1. Select the image
2. Navigate to picture format
3. On the right side, look for height & width then input the appropriate size
- Place relative to the text: Text wrapping
1. Select the image
(or navigate to picture format)
2. Click on text wrapping
3. Select “Through”

Resizing an image whilst maintaining the aspect ratio

  2. Click and drag the square in the corner to the appropriate size
  3. Consider the aspect ratio
  4. Save the image

A

Cropping: “cutting off” or removing unwanted parts of an image
1. Select the image
2. Navigate to picture format
3. Click on crop
4. Remove unwanted parts appropriately

A
  • Can be done using the mouse or a menu option
  • Usually when the image is clicked, a circle-like arrow at the top is shown, use it to rotate the image
