A

Stage 1 - Oral
- Sucking and oral satisfaction necessary
Stage 2 - Anal
- Awareness of body sensations with focus to the anal zone
Stage 3 - Phallic and Oedipal
- Awareness of genital organs
Stage 4 - Latency
- Energy and effort towards socially acceptable activities in an effort to repress Oedipal sexual urges
Stage 5 - Genital
- Sexual urges directed outside family circle

Oedipal complex (boys); Electra complex (girls)
