What is a nodule?

A

More raised than it is wide

Hyperlipidaemia (they’re small cottage cheese looking like blobs around)

A

Velvetty dark chocolate/darker skin, often armpits.

If gradual onset can be related to insulin issues

A

A thyroid skin disease:
mucin deposits in the skin

A

charcol bacterial swap: MC&S (Microscopy, Culture and Sensitivities)

A

Viral PCR. Swab bad fluid eg pop vesicle. If systemic then take a throat swab.

A

Skin scsrping, nail clipping or hair sample - tested for fungal cultures

Punch biopsy
