What is a Archipelago?
An archipelago is a group or chain of islands, for example: islands around japan, and hawaiian islands.
What is a Bay?
A Bay is part of a body of salt water and reaches into the land.
What is a Gulf?
A Gulf is a part of a sea or ocean that reaches into land, and is larger than a bay.
What is a Harbour?
A Harbour is a sheltered area of water where ships can anchor safely.
What is a Cape?
A Cape is a point of land extending into a body of water.
What is a Isthmus?
A Isthmus is a narrow strip of land with water on both sides connecting two larger areas of land.
What is a Peninsula?
A Peninsula is an area of land that is nearly surrounded by water on three sides.
What is a Desert?
A Desert is an area of land that has extremely dry air, little rain (less than 25cm per year), high daytime temperatures, and lots of wind.

A Plain is a broad, flat, or gently, rolling area that is low in elevation.

A Lagoon is a shallow body of water, especially one seperated from the sea, by sandbars or coral reefs.

An Oasis is a fertile place in the desert where there is water and some vegetation.
