16
Q

what is healthy blood pressure?

A

120/80

17
Q

what is the systolic measure?

A

pressure in your arteries when your ventricles contract

18
Q

what is the diastolic measure?

A

pressure in your arteries when your ventricles rests (between beats)

19
Q

what are the four parts of blood?

A

red blood cells, white blood cells, plasma, platelets

20
Q

what does a red blood cell do?

A

transports oxygen

21
Q

what does a white blood cell do?

A

protects body from infection

22
Q

what does plasma do?

A

the liquid part of blood

23
Q

what do platelets do?

A

clot blood

24
Q

what is hemophilia?

A

blood doesnt properly clot

25
Q

what is anemia?

A

not enough red blood cells

26
Q

what is hypertension?

A

high blood pressure

27
Q

what is atherosclerosis?

A

buildup of plaque in the arteries

28
Q

what is a heart attack?

A

blockage of blood flow to your heart

29
Q

what is coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG)?

A

It is necessary if you have coronary artery disease (CAD), the narrowing or blockage of the coronary arteries. It helps lower the risk of a heart attack. It is performed by taking blood vessels from other parts of the body, moving them to where the block one is, and creating a new blood flow.
