Q

Three levels of universe in quantum and chaos theories

A

First: what Newtonian physics describes, everyday aspects of our world.
Second: area of relative uncertainty (determined chaos) within which all the phenomena of life exists.
Third: phenomena and objects best described by chaos theory.

Life cannot exist in rigid form or in chaos, it can only exist within defined limits, between strict rules of structure and utter chaos.

Q

Classical scientific model

A

Linear cause and effect thinking developed during the renaissance and peaked at Newtonian mechanics. Separation between observer and observed is assumed.
One object can cause an effect upon another object, fully independent of the observer.

Q

Modern quantum theory

A

Independent observers do not exist. That which is sought, and the act of seeking itself, have influence upon what is found.
In physics, there is a duality of wave-particle in electrons. In experiments testing for waves, they found waves. In experiments testing for particles, they found particles. So which is it??
Experiments demonstrated that electrons appear to be what the experimenter is looking for and measuring.
The act of observation, more than any inherent reality, determines how they appear.
