What is an IDS Failue? (31-108, 4.9)

Answer 1

Loss of sensor coverage caused by excessive false/nuisance alarms, maintenance, or system malfunction. Compensatory measures will be implemented for IDS failure. For the BFTF, AM will conduct IVA while the ISRT will conduct sector sweeps. Main Base patrols will conduct sector sweeps for IDS not meeting requirements.

Answer 2

Require an immediate maintenance response not to exceed four hours and must be corrected to at least a partial failure.
