  1. NFA
  2. issue a warning
  3. refer the case to a Panel

A
  1. suspend a doctors registration for max 18 months
  2. impose conditions on doctors registration for max 18 months
  3. must be reviewed every 6 months
  4. if IOP wishes for order to be extended they must apply to the High Court for permission to do so

Interim Orders Panel

A

Panel which can suspend or restrict a doctors practice whilst they have a case being investigated . these will involve cases where the doctor faces allegations of such a nature that it may be necessary for the protection of members of the public, or in the publics interest or in the interest of the doctor for the doctors registration to be restricted whilst the allegations are resolved.
