How to deal with ethical issues

A
  • BPS code of conduct
  • U16 need parental consent such as a signature
  • Participants should be given a full debrief after research has taken place
  • They should be told what their data will be used for and given the opportunity to withdraw their data
  • Offer counselling if study may have harmed then in anyway
  • Maintain anonymity
