-Tait distributed this footage online who helped run an animal sex farm advertised online

  2. Seeks time alone with animals (dog walker, night shelter worker)
  3. Affinity for large breeds

What types of physical evidence would you seize at this crime scene?

-ALL ELECTRONIC DEVICES
-Videotapes, CD’s, flashdrives, thumb drives
-Look for material containing: animal crush videos, bestiality videos, child exploitation, torture videos involving both children and animals, any pornography downloaded from the internet including animals and children.
-Cameras especially if mounted on tripod

-Sex toys
-Lubricants
-Condoms
-Restraints/ restraint devices
-Breeding stands aka “rape stands”
-Additional phones/devices

-Transfer stains:
-Seminal stains located on any furniture, pet bedding, towels, carpets, etc.
-Towels/cloths used to clean up assailant and victim
-Transfer from rubbing/scooting

-PAPER EVIDENCE:
Photos, receipts for vet care, evidence of ownership, receipts for payments of animal erotica or pornography, as well as all animals present on the scene.

-ON ANIMAL:
Fluorescent stains
Blood from sexual injury on mouth, anus, vagina, etc.
Fecal material which may contain spermatozoa/lubricant material from a condom
Vaginal swabs - also contain lubricant material

-DOCUMENT ANIMAL BEHAVIOR/VISIBLE INJURIES
Pain/suffering
Lack of resistance - may indicate drugs used to sedate
Training/conditioning

Veterinary Examination on the Animal…

A

-No lubricants should be used until all samples are collected
Don’t let veterinarian put on lubricant gloves during examination/any other lubricant to make the exam easier for the animal; could potentially remove DNA evidence on animal!

-Prevent animal from grooming and cleaning backside

-NO FOOD OR WATER given until all examinations are complete; may be evidence in the animal’s mouth

-Exclude possible NATURAL REASONS for conditions (parasites)
Have the vet rule out parasites/possible illness that could be causing any of the systems/signs you’re seeing

-Document ALL INJURIES

-Exam pubic hairs from perpetrator for DNA evidence; trace material

-VIDEO ANY SPECIFIC BEHAVIORS
Video how the animal responds to you collecting your swabs
