Dressler’s syndrome

A

Occurs 2-3 weeks after MI

Caused by immune response and causes pericarditis

Pericardial rub

Can cause pericardial effusion and pericardial tamponade

A

NSAIDs (aspirin/ ibuprofen)

May need pericardiocentesis
