A

-All life is sacred, must be protected
-responsibility to protect life stewardship
-abortion is murder
-someone has to defend for the foetus
-QoL of baby with disabilities cannot be predicted, so we cannot forbid that life

Pro choice arguments

A

-women should have the rights to what happens to their bodies
-if child would put mother’s life at risk then it is necessary
-rape or incest
-if foetus cannot survive outside the womb, should not allow life on its own right
-cruel to allow damaged foetus to be birthed
-women will still have abortion if banned just not safely

-human right
-only one who can judge if my life is worth living
-compassion to put animals to sleep, should be the same compassion to humans

  • we should care and love for people in their last days not kill them
    ‘Do unto others as you would have them do unto you’
    Hospices eg. St Anne’s hospice
  • doctors and nurses takes oaths to protect life not end it
    -illegal in uk
