Test for proteins
A
The Biurette reagent made of sodium hydroxide and copper (II)
Once added to the solution, it will turn violet if protein is present

Add iodine to the solution, and if starch amylose is present, then it will turn blue-black

A
Add benedicts solution to solution and heat in a water bath. If glucose is present, it will turn brick red

Lipid emulsion test
Add alcahol to solution, and the alcahol will dissolve any lipids in the solution. Add water witch will break down the alcahol and lipids were present a white emulsion will appear
