A

Fine = small muscles groups and a high level of accuracy
Gross = large muscles groups and associated with power

A

Open = changeable, decisions to make
Closed = predictable, fixed, few decisions

A

Low = simple, can easily be split up into sub routine
High = usually complex and cannot be split up into subroutines

A

self = closed skill and timing/speed is under the athletes control
externally = timing dictated by someone else/environment

A

simple = few decisions
complex = lots of decisions with coordination being important

A

discreet = clear beginning and end
serial = multiple discreet skills put into one
continuous. = no clear beginning or end, end of one movement starts the next
