group of people/things that can be defined according to a criterion/set of criteria

A
never changing (numerical) description of a measurable population characteristic

A
summarize and describe either characteristics of / relationships among variables in a sample

what are inferential stats?
A
make conclusions about larger populations from which those observations were drawn

what are continuous variables?
A
variables that can take on any value within a specific range (measured)

A
variables that can take on certain values, there are gaps between values (counted)
