neuroglia are non-neuronal supporting cells

CNS:
astrocytes - structural, metabolic exchange
microglia - phagocytes
Oligodendrocytes - produce myelin
Ependymal cells - fluid transport, secretion

PNS:
Schwann cells - wrap around axon
Satellite cells - stem cells
