Q

What are the steps for extravasation?

A
  1. Rolling
    • binding of self in molecules to mucin-like CAMs
  2. Activation
    • chemo knee bind to receptors on leukocyte, triggering an activating signal
    • signal induces conformational change in integrin
  3. Arrest/adhesion
    • altered integrins adhere to ICAMs on endothelium
  4. Transendothelial migration
