Q

Why gluconeogenesis is not glycolysis in reserve?

A

Glycolysis = exergonic (large negative delta G). If reserved, gluconeogenesis would be endergonic (not occur spontaneously)

Regulate in a reciprocal fashion –> having 4 unique reactions
