Breathing

A

Oxygen enters the body through the mouth or nose. It travels down the trachea which branches into bronchi, into a bronchus, bronchioles and into alveoli. From the alveoli, oxygen enters a red blood cell and is carried around the body. Oxygen is used in respiration.
