Revolutionaries- Marx + Luxemburg- absolute equality whereby a post capitalist soceity everybody is the same.
Beatrice Webb- equality of outcome- income more fairly distributed.
Third way + SD- equality of opportunity- no barriers to those capable of sucess.

-Webb- society should be reformed by evolutionary means- revolutions are Chaotic, inefficient and counterproductive. (elite administrators)- group interests.
-Marx- capitalism has infected society to such an extent that revolution only option.
-Crosland- everyone can benefit from economic growth- total nationalisation infiringes individualism- use a mixed economy + progressive tax.

-Webb +Crosland- capitalism has created inequality - wasteful nature- explotation impact on human nature.+Giddens- recognises communal responsibility needs to be in place to offset negative impacts of capitalism.
