the rivet will jump around and create a smiley in the rivet head and if there are too many indentation on the head we have to drill out the rivet

we end up with a flat head and it will not expand to the proper diameter then we have to drill it out

make sure we keep the head sticking out about 1 and 1/2 diameter

the bucking bar vibrates and hammers the rivet head into shape
