DSM-5 Criteria

A

A. Recurrent episodes of binge eating
- Eating a huge amount of food in too short a time
- Lack of control over what/how much you’re eating

B. 3+ of the following
1. Eating faster than usual
2. Eating until uncomfortably full
3. Eating large amounts of food despite not being hungry
4. Eating alone due to embarrassment of quantity of food
5. Feelings of disgust, guilt & depression afterwards

C. Distress at binge-eating

D. Once a week, 3+ months

E. No form of purging
