VTS tidal broadcast

Seattle traffic will issue a radio broadcast when the height of tide in Seattle is predicted to exceed 10ft. When the tidal state exceeds 10ft in Seattle vessels should proceed at a safe speed to minimize the risk of wake damage

Logging is a major industry in the area and Mariners should keep a lookout for free floating logs, sinkers and deadheads

BlaIR and sitcum waterways will be enforced when directed by the COTP Vessels can not enter without permission from COTP. Vessels greater than 20m must give 4hr notice. Vessels less than 20m 1hr notice

Regulated navigation area in designated areas of the waterway vessels shall not anchor, drag or spud which would disturb sediment cap of this superfund remediation site.

1) 11th St Murray Morgan vertical lift bridge. 1 prolonged and 1 short to open. 2hr notice. Need nkt open for vessels or toes less than 1000gt. Closed 0630-0830 and 1530-1730 M-F except federal holidays. Vertical clearance closed 64ft, open 139ft, Hor 200ft
2)Puyallup river - fixed bridge over river. Vert cl 29ft, Hor cl 150ft
3) Hylebos bascule bridge- Hor cl 150ft , vert cl 21ft for middle width of 98ft. Will open on approach w/ comms on vhf ch 13 or 16 w/ bridge tender.
