A

moment in time when owner can occupy or utilize work for its intended purpose
- this is when the statue of limitations begins, and contractors schedule ends
- CA services provided by the arch after substantial completion are an add service
- typical that within 1 year of SC there is a follow up meeting

Final Completion

A

contractor notifies architect in writing that the punchiest and final cleaning is complete and includes a final application for payment

A

officially made by the GC but typically made by the Arch during the inspection for Sub completion
- once punch is complete there is a second inspection held to determine final completion

A
