emotional = sense of dread, terror
cognitive = anticipation of harm, exaggeration of danger, worries
behavioural = escape, avoidance

panic disorder = attacks of this disorder are aggravated by stress, irrational thoughts, fear
specific phobias = anticipates terrifying outcomes
GAD = experience persistent fear and worry
social anxiety disorders = fear of public embarrassment, humiliation

norepinephrine is poorly regulated especially in an area of the brain stem called locus coeruleus and other neurotransmitters such as serotonin, gamma-aminobutyric (GABA) and cholecystokinin (CCK)
