What is a series circuit
A series circuit is a circuit where all of the components are connected in a series (single loop)
What is a parallel circuit
A parallel circuit is a circuit where some or all of the components are connected in a parallel arrangement.
What is current
An electric current is the flow of electric charge around a circuit. It is measured in amps
What is the equation for charge
Q = I x t
C = A x s - units
What is potential difference
Potential difference also voltage
It is the work done by each coulomb of charge as it passes between two points. It is supplied by the battery or cell to make current flow
What is charge flow
In a circuit electrons are forced through components by the potential difference of the battery or cell. Charge is carried through the circuit by electrons
What is the equation for charge, energy, voltage
E = Q x V
Energy = charge x voltage
J = c x v
