Ediz hook
A low and narrow sand spit 3nm long, with rock jetty on north side. Uscg station is on E side of hook with piers floating docks on S side of Hook. Extreme E end of hook is marked by a 50ft light shown from a skeleton tower with fog signal and 170’ CG VTS radar tower .1nm WSW of light
PSP station
Located 1nm From E end of ediz hook on the S side of sand spit. Has a building on stilts with connecting ramp to floating barge where 2 red pilots boats are Moored when not in use
Fish pens
Located on N side of harbor S of ediz hook in between USCG station and pilot station. 2 large pens marked by lights
Port angles paper mill
Located at west end of harbor. Has many large prominent warehouse , tanks and daishowa stacks
Log booming grounds
Located in N side of harbor and up to 1nm in front of paper mill
Port Angeles boat haven
Is a large, well equipped small craft basin in the sw part of the harbor that can accommodate a large fleet of fishing and pleasure boats with 660 berths. Is protected by breakwater marked by lights
Measure mile
In SW part of the harbor N of boat haven. 200yard course marked by 4 markers. True course 121-16’
PA T pier
Located on S shore of harbor immediately E of boat haven. Large wharves can accommodate large deep draft vessels. Shipment of logs and commodities is conducted h re as well as topside ship repairs by shipyard. Has 1700sf of covered storage.
PA port dock
Largest pier in hrb, 1300ft long in NE direction. Ships can moor on both N and S side of pier
Black ball ferry dock
Located E of port dock. Has ferry terminal for cars and passengers.
City of port Angeles
On S shore of harbor medium sized town with many buildings and amenities. Prominent when viewed from All directions except S
Radio mast
Located between first and front street
Cupola
Located on the corner of Lincoln and Fourth st.
Tower
Located on corner of Laurel and fourth
Tanks and stacks
Located south of the old rayonier dock and prohibited anchorage area
